Family picture
The family had the pleasure of attending a special award evening to honour elite athletes enrolled in the Burnaby Mountain Lacrosse/SFU touring teams. We got to get dressed up of course except for the husband whose fancy pants appeared to have "shrunk" on him. Anyways, he wore his fancy jeans for the occasion. There was a silent auction with lots of lovely items, a 50/50 draw, a special balloon pop with a prize of a trip to New York and a great dinner. The inspirational speaker was Geroy Simon from BCLions (except the day before he was traded to Saskatchewan Roughriders...boo hoo we will miss him!). I had an opportunity to speak with Mr. Simon after the evening and wow, he is such a gracious man. Thanks for popping by.

Here is an early xmas present for the felines...
I had the opportunity to acquire a cat shelf post for our two fabulous cats Miso and Phinnaeus. They took to it famously. And they love playing with each other and swatting each other. I'm glad they love it.

More of my girls...
If you haven't visited this website, you must go now. Krista draws such cute girls and boys...I love all her images. Her site is saturated canary and she is quite an interesting woman. I have coloured her girls with copic markers and I try to add some interesting papers to accent all the colours. I love how they turned out and I hope to send these to some special people. Thanks for dropping by. Happy stamping.
A little birthday girl...
One of my bestest friends and co-worker is having a birthday soon so I made this card for her. I coloured her with my copic markers and made a rosette embellishment topped off with a button. I really love the colour choices and the layering. I made it into an easel card using one of Tim Holtz's die shapes. I adhered a white strip onto the back to write my sentiment. I know she will love it. She tells me that every card I have made for her is still out on display. What a great friend. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting. Just to say that this image comes from a gal called Krista who has a website called saturated canary. Wow, she has such great impressions of girls and boys. Love the hair, and detail in her outfits. This one is a digi image and it is ONLY $2. Can't beat that.

Last but not least...
I finally completed the last of my designs for an upcoming xmas card class. I decided that it would be fun to make a shaker card using some chunky glitter. I figured I could turn this gnome into a christmas gnome and coloured him like a santa. I am happy with how it turned out. Thanks for checking me out.
